Regulation When Playing Soccer

Although football can be played anywhere and with little equipment, the rules of the game known as the Laws of Football are not obvious to everyone. Do not panic ! Here is a little reminder of the basic rules of the sport most loved by young and old alike.

Football is played on a rectangular field that measures between 90 and 120 meters long and 45 and 90 meters wide. 토토 For important or international matches, it measures approximately 105 meters by 68 meters, or an area of approximately 7,000 m2. Its coating is most often natural grass but it can also be synthetic turf, gravel or even earth.

The field is delimited by drawn lines: the two longest lines are the touch lines (lengths of the field), the two shortest are the goal lines (widths of the field). The playing field is divided into two by the center line, the center point of which is marked in the middle. A circle of 9.15 m radius is drawn around this point in midfield. The two goals are placed in the center of each goal line at the back of the field.

They are surrounded by a penalty area"which is 16.5m inside each goal post and the goal line. The penalty spot is marked 11 m in front of the goal and outside each penalty area an arc of a circle is drawn (9.15 m radius from the penalty or penalty spot).

A match takes place in two 45-minute halves, separated by a 15-minute break. If at the end of these two halves the teams are tied, they then play extra time: these are two new halves of 15 minutes. If there is still a tie, it is the penalty shootout that will decide between them: 5 players from each team take turns shooting from the penalty spot.
